Race Information

Half Marathon
presenting sponsor – AAA

Our new half-marathon loop earned raves reviews in 2011, and we invite you to join us on Saturday, June 9, to experience the fun for yourself.  The course is both challenging and beautiful and takes participants by some of some of Helena’s impressive 19th century architecture including the St. Helena Cathedral and the Montana State Capitol. The course leads runners and walkers out of the city to a gradual climb through the beautiful landscapes of our south hills with spectacular, sweeping views of the Elkhorn Mountains to the south and Sleeping Giant Mountain to the north.  Then — because what goes up must go down — the course descends back through the Capitol district to the finish line in historic downtown Helena.

10K

5K

A great run for individuals and families. The easy-to-moderate 5K course passes the Cathedral of St. Helena, the capitol district, and finishes in historic downtown Helena.
